About DelChester Wildlife Conservation Group
The DCWCG is a charitable organization with the primary goal of helping landowners to manage the wildlife population that inhabit their lands.
With suburban sprawl tightening its grip on the region, some wildlife populations have flourished while others have dwindled almost to the point of being moved out of our area.
While the Whitetailed deer have adapted, they have done so to the peril of many of the area's songbirds, some who's population has been reduced by as much as 98%.
Over browsing has reduced breeding and nesting cover to the point that many of our beautiful bird populations cannot propagate. This is why it is such a rare event to see a Pheasant today.
DCWCG will survey your property and make reccomendations to better manage your lands to the improvement of all species, free of charge.
